Jan has been involved in hairdressing all his adult life from working in salons to being an educator and now being a session stylist. Because of this he understands what motivates and inspires other hairdressers . He has promoted products all over the world and understands the individual nature of each country.

SHOWS: Jan has worked for l’oreal, Wella, Unite, Schwartzkopf, Tigi, Label m, and Redken, at all levels from salon workshop through to shows for up to 5,000 people. jan has worked in every european country As well as america japan the middle and far east and eastern europe.

EDUCATION: He was a key member of the toni and guy creative team he can be seen cutting and styling in more than 10 collections. whilst at toni and guy jan taught every course from beginner to advanced mens and long hair and helped to develop the whole curriculum as well as training the the international art team and being the London academy director, overseeing all London training.

SESSION: Jan started as an assistant to Guido Palau working on collections for Gucci Prada Calvin klein jill sander alexander mcqueen and versace he has moved on to head his own shows for Basso and Brooke, Danielle Scutt, Avsh Alom Gur and fashion fringe. Jan has had work published in magazines such as Vogue Plaza Marie Clare Elle Volt Hunger 125 magazine Tush Glamour Sunday Times Tank and the Guardian. He has recently shot a short film for Louis Vuitton and created the hair for Lie Sang Bong for paris fashion week. He has also created catwalk looks for men’s fashion week in Milan working with Belstaff, Daks and Julian Zigerli.
Jan has also continued to work as an educator teaching in Uk, Brazil, Russia, Ukraine Italy and Spain. He works as a consultant to salons who are looking to structure an educational program within their business. He also runs a variety of courses from foundation right through to fashion inspired work. He teaches hairstyling cutting,barbering, as well as an intensive teacher training program which teaches the salon trainer how to create and teach their own educational system. With this level of expertise he is comfortable adapting to individual working environments and also maximising the time allowed as you would expect of such an accomplished individual .
